FerriStat is a 20% Ferric Sulphate haemostatic gel which effectively eliminates gingival bleeding.
Effective tissue management holds significant importance in the process of capturing a dental impression, especially in scenarios involving crown and bridge or veneer preparations. Achieving thorough haemostasis is crucial to prevent any disruption caused by bleeding during the impression-taking stage, which could compromise the accuracy of the dental impression.
When employing FerriStat, a 20% ferric sulphate solution, profound haemostasis can be attained immediately as the solution functions by forming plugs within the incised capillaries, effectively ensuring haemostasis and minimising any bleeding concerns. FerriStat is also helpful when bleeding occurs whilst completing a buccal restoration.

Dispense approximately 20ml of solutions into a disposable cup. Ask the patient to swish for 20 – 30 seconds then spit.
