Golden stardard for air-removal and steam penetration tests

The Bowie & Dick Type Autoclave ‘Lean’ Test Pack is a Type 2 chemical indicator wrapped in special paper with cardboard packaging that mimics the original Bowie & Dick test. The Bowie & Dick Type Autoclave ‘Lean’ Test Pack is used daily to test steam penetration and air removal during pre-vacuum in the steriliser. If the process went well then the chemical indicator sheet in the package turns from blue to pink.

Batch monitoring system

Interster’s Helix Test Systems are the ideal system to perform as a “worst case” test in a (small) steam steriliser. The Helix Test Systems are used to monitor air removal and steam penetration of lumen during sterilization. They serve as a so-called “batch monitoring system” to check the sterilisation parameters in the load.

Chemical Indicator

The Steam Emulating Indicators are intended to be used to check the sterilisation parameters within the sterilisation load. You can add a chemical indicator per instrument set so you can be sure the set has been sterilised according the correct sterilisation conditions. If critial parameters such as sterilisation time, temperature and pressure are correct the indicators will change from light blue to dark green or black.

The sterilisation marker features a special waterproof and non-toxic ink that can be used on sterilisation labels and packaging materials. What’s more the ink of the utility marker dries instantly, does not fade and can be used for different sterilisation methods. Designed for light touch writing to avoid damage to the label or the packaging material when written on.

The sterilisation indicator tapes is made of an exceptionally strong crepe material with a strong adhesive strip. This combination ensures that the packaged set will stay tightly sealed. To properly use the sheets of sterilisation packaging material, the right tape is necessary. It is important that the tape stays well gripped on the sterilisation packaging material before and after sterilisation. The sterilisation indicator tape features process indicators that serve as a passage indicator by which you can tell if the packaged instrument set has been in the steriliser.
