Since 1952, Germiphene has set a standard of excellence in the manufacturing and distribution of products for the healthcare industry, specialising in dental. We began with 10 people in a 2000 square foot facility and have grown to over 100 dedicated employees, many of whom have been with us for 10-25 years! We’re proudly located in Brantford, Ontario, and strive to offer a unique product mix focused on quality and value.

In 2019, Germiphene was acquired by Young Innovations, a leading global supplier of professional dental products. With its mission of Creating Smiles, Creating Possibilities, Young focuses on delivering innovative, high-quality products and solutions to clinicians and their patients. Germiphene is ISO Certified (International Organization for Standardisation). We have a recognized Quality Management System (QMS) in place to ensure customer satisfaction and high quality through continuous improvement. Germiphene is certified to meet the high standards of ISO 13485 for design, manufacture, and distribution of disinfectants, cleaning solutions, and dental products for the medical device industry. Germiphene is a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliant facility. GMP are part of quality assurance that ensures that production and distribution of drugs are consistently controlled in such a way to meet the quality standards appropriate to their intended use. This process begins with rigorously inspecting incoming raw materials and continues after the final product has left our doors with our excellent customer satisfaction program.
