Softmed products are TGA registered and comply with Australian and international standards
- Surgical masks accredited to AS 4381:2015, EN14683 Type IIR and ASTM F2100 Level 3 standards
- N95 respirators meet AS/NZ 1716:2012, NIOSH 42 CFR part 84, and EN 149:2001 and A1:2009, CNAS L0153 standards
Production & Laboratory
The Softmed factory in Campbellfield, Victoria, is a medical grade, state-of-the-art PPE manufacturing facility and testing laboratory.
The factory has ISO 13485 Certification (Medical Device Manufacturing) and in the process of implementing Level 7 cleanrooms and sterile manufacturing capabilities.
The Softmed factory is the first in Australia to produce the full cycle from non-woven fabric raw materials to end products.
