The Magic Sonic Noise Reduction Ear Buds are used to drastically reduce sound pressure and the shrill noises that occur during turbine operation, ulatrasonic scaling, pneumatic scaling and suction. They are manufactured by Scorpion Dental Instrument of France who have been creating and producing top-tier ultrasonic scaling tips for over two decades.
The key benefit of using the Magic Sonic Noise Reduction Ear Buds lies in their simplicity: by placing the inserts at the ear canal entrance, communication with the patient and assistant can be maintained, while reducing the sound pressure that occurs in the frequency range of around 6000Hz, a similar range to ultrasonic scaling, turbines, pneumatic scalers and suction systems. The ear buds are attached to a flexible cord to ensure easy accessibility and encourage consistent use, which is crucial for preserving hearing faculties. Should cleaning be necessary, the inserts can be easily disassembled.
