Temrex Tofflemire Matrix Bands

> Provides proper contour, contact, and stability for amalgam or composite restorations
Thickness Options
> .0010″ (0.025mm) – Ultra Thin Dead Soft
> .0015″ (0.038mm) – Extra Thin

Dead Soft Vs Regular Tofflemire Matrix Bands
Dead soft matrix bands are more adaptable, easier to contour and burnish, ideal for tight interproximal contacts.
Ultra Thin Dead Soft Tofflemire Matrix Bands
Material condition: Dead soft stainless steel, annealed, no spring/rigidity
Thickness: .0010″ (0.025 mm)
Properties: Very pliable, easy to burnish and shape closely to the tooth anatomy
Use: Excellent when very tight proximal contacts are required, or when working in very narrow interproximal spaces.
Ultra Thin Regular Tofflemire Matrix Bands
Material condition: Regular (tempered) stainless steel, has spring/rigidity
Thickness: .0010″ (0.025 mm)
Properties: Stiffer than dead soft, maintains its shape better when placed and tightened in the retainer
Use: Good where stability and resistance to deformation are required during packing of amalgam or composite
