Finishes
Translucent Arkansas stones are among the rarest and most valuable natural sharpening stones. Exceptionally hard and dense, they sharpen while simultaneously polishing, producing an extremely fine razor edge. Being a natural product, they may contain subtle colour variations, including shades of pink, yellow, or grey.

India stones are synthetic stones manufactured from aluminium oxide. They are purposely designed to be softer and more porous than traditional stones. The friable abrasive grains reduce metal removal during the sharpening process, thereby prolonging the lifespan of the blade.
