Due to improved design and vibration, power from the scaler module to the tip may be reduced by 40% compared to other tips affording greater patient comfort without impacting efficiency for the practitioner.

Durability
All Scorpion ultrasonic instruments are coated with a 2µm thick and strong titanium nitride layer (TiN). To maintain efficiency and for patient comfort the ultrasonic tip should be replaced when the titanium coating has disappeared.
