The original Tooth Slooth fracture detector was first introduced to the dental industry in 1984 at the California Dental Convention in Anaheim. Since that time, this innovative dental instrument has made the diagnosis of fractured teeth both easy and accurate.

A companion to the Tooth Slooth is the Tooth Slooth II-Crown Seater.  An adjunct to the “original” Tooth Slooth fracture detector the Tooth Slooth II-Crown Seater is a smaller instrument for diagnosing fractures of difficult to reach molars or in patients with small mouths and also assists in cementing crowns, onlays, inlays and bridges.
